Megan Porpeglia (b. 1990) is a New York based artist making Paintings and Drawings to engage the characters in her mundane surroundings, with the hopefulness of pointing out something odd or unnamable. Megan is specifically collecting from domestic tools and objects to act as an armature for invention and arranged pictorial space. While she pivots through observation, memory, and imagination, the drawn mark and touch guide this work to inhabit a space of its own.
